Emmy + Kasey | Backyard Summer Sprinkler Fun

Prepare yourself, it’s a little longer of a couples post. Who is to blame here but Emmy and Kasey for being such entertaining company. This isn’t the first time either. You’ll see in a later blog of our hiking at Arabia Mountain. In the meantime, this is about how open-to-creativity they are.

They reached out about wanting summer photos and didn’t care what we did just as long as they had something to mark this time in their life / relationship. Thinking to myself that I definitely wanted something water related, I remembered my parents having a sprinkler tucked away in the shed somewhere at their house.

Me to E + K : Hey um . . you wanna come over to my mom ‘n dad’s to play in the backyard?

E + K (also children apparently) : YES

It is so freeing when couples forget the camera exists and are just being themselves.

That feeling of cold water hitting you but it’s so hot outside that you don’t even care.

Sorry not sorry for adding these two photos, Emmy.

You can’t give me good content and expect me not to post it.

Quick shout out to my mom ‘n dad for keeping up with the soft grass that’s clear of ant hills.

A god send when you think about it, really. Red ants in the south are no joke. Our feet are happy.

Rainbow light leaks, the wheelbarrow, and jumps through a moving sprinkler let’s gooooo

Tiny little water specks are so satisfying and so are hand kisses in my opinion.

I love the first photo in this set of four LOL. Sorry Kasey but it reminds of when you’re at the fair and someone gets real happy that they hit the target to dunk the clown.

Thank ya’ll for being the kind of couple I want all the time in frame.
