Courtney + Jake | Yellow River, Georgia Pandemic Wedding

I thought Courtney and Jake were pretty smart on their Fall 2020 wedding choices. Their original plan was to have a way bigger one. They cut down the size and kept it local to the Covington / Porterdale area. They had hand sanitizer and masks available. They didn’t have a wedding party and had the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors. The reception was small and short.

I think for a Covid wedding, they did their best to be safe.

PS,

Check out their homemade cake! I watched as the fruit slices were carefully placed.

It turned out so awesome, huh?

C + J got ready in separate loft areas next to the venue. The Mill At Yellow River doubles as an apartment complex next door! The industrial vibes and sounds of the river are perfect for both.

Courtney’s ring and band are so unique. The shape and color, dannnngg.

They said ‘I Do’ on a beautiful Fall day with the river behind them.

Courtney’s sleeves on her dress, the way it cuts in the back to frame her tattoo, and her dried flowers were perfect for her!

I loved this patch of greenery that kind of looked tropical. Had to use for portraits!

Simple and sweet Fall decor inside.

Some of my faves of the evening was the reaction of getting a surprise gift of printed engagement photos on wood. I took those engagement photos so that was so cool to see!

Barefoot bride all day from ceremony to reception, baby.

I don’t know what I loved more - the bride/groom masks or the cat in the window they HAD to have photos with LOL. Thanks for a no stress, laid back day C + J!
